My Dream Come True
I am just a mum that loves a good romcom and if there's not a book in my hand, there's something wrong with me. I live in the North West of England in an enviable spot that's less than an hour from the Lake District where I seem to spend most of my free time. I'm 50, I work for the NHS, I'm mum to a savvy 17 year old and wife to a suffering husband. I rarely shave my legs, I use dry hair shampoo (a lot) and I adore my fox-red Labrador, Archie.

Why did I start writing? I'd always had a love for Enid Blyton's Famous Five, and Secret Seven books, and I spent countless hours in a make-shift tent in my garden (a clothes airer with a bed sheet over the top) pretending I belonged in those adventures.

As I grew up, my passion for children's books soon matured into a love for romance books. Mills and Boons, the job lot, I devoured them all. However, I always longed for the perfect heroine, the handsome hero and the Happy Ever After and one day I thought to myself, just write it yourself.

And so I did.
